Year 2 Week 12
This was taken rather late at night on 9/15, a day that I managed to both can a batch of jam and make dinner (a rather boring dinner but dinner nonetheless) and clean the kitchen up all in a span of 3 1/2 hours. The contrast between last week’s bounty and this week’s share is interesting, but at the time I was just thankful since I had only used a mere fraction of last week’s produce.
- green beans
- banana peppers?
- yellow tomato
- eggplant
- summer squash
- beets with greens

Year 2 week 7
It all looked so pretty in the basket that I just left it there for the picture. And yes that is a laundry basket, I’ve found if your CSA doesn’t provide a box of some sort a laundry basket is much easier to chuck veggies in than a couple of floppy reusable grocery bags. When it gets dirty I use a washcloth, some dish soap and wash it in my bath tub, propping it upside down to dry.
- green onions
- various squashes (1 pattypan, 2 crookneck, 1 large zucchini)
- carrots
- raddishes
- green beans
- cucumbers
